Gallanders slides the ball past the keeper to give Ashton the lead
First half goals from Simon Gallanders, Richard Sharpe and Steve Wallace secured another semi final appearance for Ashton against a spirited Stoneclough side, who had already secured the First Division West Lancs League and Cup Double and also made it to the showcase final of the Bolton Hospital Cup, to be played this Friday at the Reebok stadium.


Sharpe puts Ashton 2 up
The win secures a plum Derby against neighbours Ashton Town who beat Bolton Lads Club 2-1 in their quarter final. The tie will be played at Atherton Collieries Ground on Wednesday 14th May 7.30pm KO.
